Dark Tactics

Support

We read everything that arrives.

The quickest way to get help is to write to [email protected] with your device model, the version shown in the game’s Settings screen, and what you were doing when it went wrong. A screenshot usually saves a round trip.

The other device does not appear in the lobby

Co-op and versus work over the same Wi-Fi or online. For the same Wi-Fi:

I bought advert removal and the adverts came back

Purchases follow your store account, not the device. Reinstalling or switching phones needs a restore — open the game’s Settings and use the restore option while signed in to the same Google or Apple account you bought with. If that does not work, send us the store receipt and we will sort it out.

I lost my progress

Progress is saved on your device, and the game also keeps an anonymous cloud copy (no login). After deleting and reinstalling, open the game and wait for it to sync: it recognises the device and brings the save back. If that does not happen, open Settings › Cloud save › Backup and enter your recovery code. You can also pick an earlier version under History (it lists your last seven saves).

A recovery code is also how you move to a new phone: make one in Settings › Cloud save › Backup on the old phone, enter it on the new one. The save moves: the old phone is signed out and starts a new game, so there is only ever one copy (one device, one cloud save). If you never made a code and the device is not recognised (for example it was installed from a different source), we cannot find the save for you, because the account is anonymous. If progress vanished without an uninstall, that is a bug and we want to hear about it.

The game looks sideways or will not rotate

Open Settings › Orientation and choose automatic, or lock upright or sideways. If text is too small, try Settings › Text size.

Feature requests

Welcome, and genuinely read. The game is built around a small set of rules that hold everywhere, so the most useful request is the one that says which rule you wish were different and what you would do with it.
